National leader in children's
entertainment for more than 20 years, DinoRock Productions, Inc. has
performed outstanding theater for millions of children nationwide
and has sold over 100,000 award-winning audio recordings around the
world. A generation has grown up singing with Danny Diplodocus and
"Hack," the hadrosaur from Hackensack. Hack, Danny and all their
life-sized, colorful prehistoric friends are the creations of Emmy
Award-Winning puppet designer Ingrid Crepeau and Parents' Choice
Magazine and American Library Association Award Winner Michele
Valeri. These lovable characters inhabit the magical world of
DinoRock Productions—a
performance group for family audiences that introduces children to
the world of science through the one subject that seems to excite
everyone's imagination...dinosaurs!
The appeal of the DinoRock
characters and the nationally recognized, memorable songs by Michele
Valeri, Michael Stein and Joe Pipik have shaped a troupe of players
devoted to creating highly entertaining theater pieces that delight
children and their parents, and are both educationally sound and
commercially viable.
The company began in 1984 with the production of their first album,
called Dinosaur Rock, the story of an eccentric yodeling
paleontologist whose magic spells can bring dinosaurs back to life.
The recording led to a show, which lead to the formation of a
touring company. Since then the company has produced nine more
dinosaur shows: The Great Dinosaur Mystery, Dinosaur Babies,
A Dinosaurus Chorus, Divertimento in D(inosaur), The Dinosuar Book of World Records, Dinosaurs Forever, T-Rex's Holiday Surprise, Dinosaur Desperadoes and Mi Casa Es Su Casa. They
have been on the road for over 20 years. The characters in these
shows, Dinah Diplodocus, Stella Stegosaurus and her baby Doris,
Tootsie Triceratops and her baby True Blue, Alphie the Alphadon (a
mammal), Hot Dog (the Big, Bad Baby Rex), Tina Titanosaurus, Cammie
Camarosaurus and a whole flock of pterodactyls are currently touring with lots of new friends bringing great family and educational programming, workshops for teachers and students, and residencies to a town near you. So here they are, on the web, in all their glory, The
Dinosaurs!
